Job Description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:  The Global Marketing Department is in search of a multi-talented Video Production Manager who would be responsible for managing the production for all corporate videos. This includes planning, pre-production, production and post-production responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS:

  • Shoot and produce product and business training videos featuring corporate executives and team members in interior/exterior corporate office and green screen room settings.
  • Create motion graphics, animation, and typography to enhance video viewing experience.
  • Support social media video content needs as required to help drive digital marketing engagement.
  • Work with Global Marketing Director and marketing team to plan, develop and execute video projects.
  • Brainstorm with coworkers to create and mock-up video ideas for seasonal and product campaigns.
  • Manage camera operation, lighting, and sound, as well as all talent direction on location.
  • Collaborate with external video teams to oversee projects as needed.
  • Edit video to display effectively on a variety of platforms at varying lengths.
  • Provide creative concepts to help enhance marketing campaigns using video.
  • Maintain all established branding standards.
  • Recommend essential equipment necessary to produce quality video content.
  • Maintain video equipment (camera, mics, lighting, sound, backdrops, etc.).
  • Stay up to date on the latest trends in video production and storytelling.
  • Use creative software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) to create graphics and produce video content.
  • Complete tasks as assigned within the project managing system Asana.
  • Work additional hours as needed, to meet project deadlines and preparation for key events.
  • Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work.
  • All other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES:

  • Exceptional editing ability including video, coloring and sound
  • Exceptional creative ability with green screen effects, lighting techniques, typography, and motion graphics
  • Strong working knowledge on proper use of all video equipment (including sound and lighting in various environments)
  • Storyboarding experience a plus
  • Proven ability to produce high quality work on tight deadlines
  • Pitch ideas in a compelling manner
  • Ability to direct people in a clear and professional manner
  • Ability to shoot and edit in a documentary style
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator)
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Driven to work autonomously
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively present and sell ideas verbally and visually.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to produce accurate work in a high-pressure environment with shifting priorities.
  • Ability to receive constructive feedback and apply in a positive manner.
  • Extreme attention to detail and problem-solving skills, interpersonal skills, able and willing to develop and learn continuously.
  • Strong organizational skills, time-management skills including ability to meet independent and team deadlines within defined budgets.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES:

  • Climb stairs and walk on a variety of surfaces including wood, carpet, tile and uneven surfaces.
  • Stand/remain upright, walk/move throughout entire building.
  • Stand/remain standing on feet for up extremely long periods, up to 8 or more hours a day during key corporate events.
  • Sit/remain seated using a computer with large monitor, keyboard, mouse and telephone for up to 4 hours at a time.
  • Turn and twist repetitively.
  • Reach down, forward and overhead.
  • Bend, kneel, stoop and/or squat repetitively.
  • Visual acuity and ability to adjust focus to create video content for digital marketing and events.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Film/Video or similar concentration.
  • 3 plus years of work experience in video production and video editing.
  • 3 plus years of work experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator).
  • Must provide creative reel demonstrating knowledge of video production and editing.
