Job Title : Receptionist
Pay - Rate : $23.00 - $24.00 / hr
Shift : 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm; Monday - Friday
Job Description :
We are seeking a warm and courteous Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our guests and employees. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while managing a variety of reception tasks.
Key Responsibilities :
- Greet guests and employees warmly, both in person and via telephone, and address inquiries or refer them as necessary.
- Attend to guests' personal belongings (coats, luggage) and offer beverages.
- Serve coffee and refreshments to guests, directing them to meeting locations.
- Escort guests and vendors as needed.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of building policies and procedures.
- Ensure the reception area and conference rooms are clean and organized.
- Comply with safety procedures, rules, and regulations to maintain a secure reception area.
- Generate and follow up on maintenance requests and building work orders.
- Operate the telecommunication system in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
- Manage visitor access by submitting requests for ID badges and acting as the main contact for building entry.
- Monitor building security, maintain a logbook, and issue visitor badges.
- Coordinate messenger services when necessary.
- Assist with restocking pantries and conference rooms, including catering setups.
- Provide concierge services such as reservations and travel arrangements.
- Support clerical tasks for staff and attorneys, including scheduling and document production.
- Organize tech support materials for guest use.
- Assist with copying, printing, and scanning tasks.
- Process and sort USPS mail and manage FedEx and courier packages.
- Maintain cleanliness in conference and break rooms.
- Submit orders for supplies via approved vendors and ensure supply areas are stocked.
- Assist with any other reasonable requests as needed.
Qualifications :
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic office equipment.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
