CT/X-Ray Technologist (Rad Tech)
Our CT/X-Ray Technologist are responsible for assessing patients and safely preforming routine radiographic procedures in accordance with prescribed safety procedures and protocols, and has certification in Radiography. In addition, the technologist has been trained successfully and registered in the additional modality and performs the following duties.
Specialized Training:
- 1 year experience in each modality the technologist is working
- 1 year experience in Hospital Setting
- Associate's degree (A.A./A.S.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and one year related experience and/or training.
- Certificates and Licenses: ARRT and BLS American Heart Association.
- Multi-modality Technologist requires certification in two (2) or more of the following modalities:
Radiology (X-Ray), Computed Tomography (CT), Ultrasound (US), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) or completion of cross-training program in that modality. Potential exposure to body fluids and communicable diseases.
