First, some of the things you will need are a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, material science, or related engineering field. We’d like to see 1 to 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, material science, or chemical engineering fields.

Second, in this position you will interface with Fort Wayne Metals customers and provide technical support for assigned market segments. You will also create specifications and help customers understand the properties of the material. The Associate Applications Engineer will communicate necessary technical information to customers and sales representatives. You will support and suggest developmental projects based on projected customer needs and provide project support for the assigned Product Manager/Supervisor.
