Job Description: As an Assistant Property Manager, you will support the Property Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our multi-family properties. You will play a crucial role in maintaining tenant satisfaction, ensuring property upkeep, and managing financial operations. This position is perfect for someone who is organized, proactive, and eager to grow in the property management field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Property Manager with daily property management tasks, including leasing, tenant relations, and maintenance coordination.
- Conduct property inspections to ensure the property is in excellent condition and report any issues to the Property Manager.
- Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Manage lease agreements, renewals, and move-in/move-out procedures.
- Assist with rent collection and monitor accounts receivable.
- Support in preparing financial reports and budgets.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for property maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in property management or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
