As a CSR (aka Teller) you will work within a team to interact with customers and provide superior customer service. You will engage customers in conversations and assist them with their retail banking needs or refer them to Fortress colleagues who can help them.

You may also be assigned duties that require exceptional focus and math skills on time-sensitive deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a cash drawer, including cash handling and daily balancing.
• Ask questions and interact with our customers to build relationships.
• Accurately and efficiently process potentially complex transactions utilizing multiple systems while providing excellent customer service.
• Engage customers in interactions, listening to them and their needs, and proactively helping them understand our products and services that meet their needs.
• Understand and abide by policies, procedures, and regulations to minimize risk.

Requirements:

• 1 year(s) of experience interacting with people, along with cash handling experience: demonstrated through work, military, or educational experience
• Excellence in customer service and professionalism
• Accurate cash handling
• Action oriented: full of energy to take on and complete work, including within teams
• Self-motivated: recognizing and taking appropriate steps to complete timely, accurate work
• Confidence to exercise judgment balanced with knowing when to seek assistance
• Well organized and able to prioritize work in a fast paced, interruptive environment
• Ability to learn and apply new skills, knowledge, and information, including new technology and systems
• Flexibility in accepting task and schedule changes
• Preferred: bilingual, English / Spanish
