Global Strategic Sourcing Manager - Glass

• Meet or exceed annual cost savings goals
• Develop, Lead, and manage supply chain strategy and supply base for one or more categories
• Scope and create projects to reduce cost, improve productivity, reduce supplier risk, or increase capacity
• Manage global, executive level business relationships within business unit(s) and with key supplier partners
• Demonstrated ability to drive and achieve significant wins

Environment:

This position is eligible for a hybrid work-from-home schedule. The candidate must be able to commute to the office as needed for supplier visits, meetings, etc. Candidates can be based out of Maumee, OH, New London, NC, Milwaukee, WI, or Brookings, SD.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years in global sourcing
• Success with starting and developing new international supply chains
• Ability to develop, lead, and manage supply chain strategy and supply base for one or more categories
• Proven ability to scope and create projects to reduce cost, improve productivity, reduce supplier risk, and increase capacity
• Ability to lead negotiations with suppliers to meet business objectives

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience and understanding of commercial glass industry
• Experience leading new product development projects and processes
• 1-3 years managing direct reports
• Support and mentor team members career aspirations
• Motivate cross functional team members to drive process improvements
