Job Description
ABOUT THE JOB
In this role, you will lead the Recycling Facility’s Operations team. You will be responsible for working directly with the front line leaders and support teams to ensure production goals are achieved. You will be instrumental in developing strong teams that foster positive associate relations.
YOUR ROLE:
- Provide leadership and oversight for the Recycling center teams
- Manage and train production associates to follow all safety, quality and production procedures
- Guide front line leaders in developing leadership skills to ensure that our core values are enhanced through effective communication and leadership strategies
- Develop manufacturing strategies & development plans supporting growth initiatives along with corporate goals
- Responsible for department Environmental, Health and Safety initiatives
- Lead efforts to enhance production, quality, and safety initiatives
- Manage and coordinate operations in implementing metrics, process improvements and organizational changes to drive continuous improvement; set standards that are measured, monitored and achieved/exceeded
- Execute on lean manufacturing processes driving a continuous improvement culture
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business preferred
- 5 years of leadership experience in a 24/7 Manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated success in meeting production goals & building a culture of positive associate relations
- Experience managing and developing effective teams; mentoring & coaching Supervisors
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and computer technology
- Lean Manufacturing experience strongly preferred
