The Product team oversees all digital properties at Fortune: our content and conference websites, to the new Fortune Connect membership platform. Our goal is to launch new products to build on our core competencies of content, events, education and wellness, in order to diversify our revenue streams; and to improve the user experience and monetization of existing properties.
We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join the Product team to assist with the coordination of all projects from start to finish. As a Project Coordinator, you will report to the VP of Product, and work with all members of the Product team. You will support collaboration with stakeholders in the Editorial, Video, Conferences, Advertising, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Design and Engineering departments. You will be hands-on and collaborative in the tracking of project deliverables to ensure they are thorough, thought-through, intuitive, easy to use, timely, and visually successful. You will attend meetings, take notes, develop action item lists as well as develop project schedules, task lists, regular reports as well as support team members on the maintenance and updates to the roadmap and related deliverables.
Requirements:
· 2-5 years of experience as a Project Coordinator or in a similar capacity
Experience with:
· Liaising with stakeholders concerning project details and deliverables
· Assisting in the planning and implementation of projects
· Helping to coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverables
· Conducting administrative duties, such as setting up meetings, writing meeting notes, transcribing JIRA tickets and preparing tracking sheets
· Tracking and reporting project progress on a regular cadence
· Attending agile meetings, taking notes and tracking follow-ups
· Solid experience with excel spreadsheets and ability to create filters and pivot tables
· Solid experience with PowerPoint and ability to create templated presentations
· Excellent written and verbal communication Skills
· Experience with project management software such as Trello or Smart Sheets
· Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
· Diligence and attention to detail
· Ability to balance ad hoc requests and regular deliverables
· Familiarity with web technologies such as JIRA, WordPress, HTML
· Preferred but not required, Bachelor’s Degree in areas of study such as Computer Science, Communications, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or Advertising
