The Pulse Oximetry Customer Service Rep assists with incoming and outgoing customer inquiries, prepares shipments, maintains inventory, and documents required steps related to pulse oximetry. This employee uses company resources, policies, and procedures to provide complete, accurate data, using appropriate technologies and following processes in accordance with company standards to ensure patient and physician contact is handled with accuracy and operational effectiveness.
Job Responsibilities:
- Establishes customer contact by initiating follow up outbound calls and receiving inbound return calls
- Reviews prescription details to ensure accuracy of submissions
- Completes all necessary steps to prepare and execute shipments
- Receives returned equipment and uploads test results into a Vendor portal
- Sanitizes, charges, and repacks equipment for future use
- Communicates with Management and the field regarding the status of orders in queue for the respective shipping site
- Communicates with pharmacies, insurance carriers via phone, fax, or electronic documents
- Maintains a level of productivity suitable for the department
- Clearly documents all communications and contacts with providers and personnel in standardized documentation format
