Position: Cargo Claims Analyst

Job Description:

Forward Air is seeking capable and career-oriented individuals to work in our fast-paced office environment. Our Cargo Claims Analysts are responsible for processing damage and shortage claims in a timely manner. All necessary training and materials for this position are provided.

Core Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Research damage and shortage claims received from customers
  • Reviews information to determine legal liability
  • Enters information into database
  • Must have communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Set up inspections
  • Interprets rules, regulations, and procedures to internal Forward Air departments and external organizations
  • Perform any additional departmental needs when requested
  • All other duties as assigned

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong team player that thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge with Microsoft Office helpful
  • Must be 18 or older
