Full Job Description

  • Receive all incoming part shipments and inspect for accuracy and damage.
  • Maintain inventories accurately and proper entry into the inventory system.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining warranty claims, returns, exchanges, repair orders, and other duties as assigned.
  • Ensure process and procedures for purchasing are consistent with Purchasing Procedures.
  • Organize and prioritize daily workload for parts department purchasing.
  • Accurately assign parts to correct locations.
  • Maintain security and cleanliness of the parts room.
  • Ensure vendors are advised of any Import requirements or lead times to avoid shipping delays.
  • Follow up with vendor purchases to ensure delivery times are being met.
  • Resolve purchase order discrepancies with vendors in a timely manner.
  • Provide reporting data to Parts manager as required.
  • Maintain a safe, neat, and professional atmosphere.
  • Maintain all in-house minimum/maximum stock levels to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained on an ongoing basis.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Able to work 2nd / 3rd Shift.
  • Self-motivation.
  • Candidate must have strong organizational skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows software and knowledge of company purchasing application software and procedures (Will Train).
  • Thorough understanding of production and build maintenance parts.
  • Detail-oriented with mechanical inclination.
  • Able to work well alone and with others.
  • Sufficient electronic/verbal communication skills, as needed, to discuss equipment malfunctions and complete reports.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
