JOB SUMMARY

Fothion is in search of an ambitious and driven Managed Services Sales Representative to join our Sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets in the IT Managed services sector. Services Offerings include:


  • Managed IT and Cybersecurity
  • IT Support and IT Consulting
  • Backup and Recovery Solutions
  • Cloud Computing
  • Hardware & Software Provisions

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and onsite meetings with prospects.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competition, and potential customer needs.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals and presentations to potential clients, clearly articulating the value proposition of our services.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring both client satisfaction and profitability for the company.
  • Collaborate with the Support team to ensure that proposed solutions accurately meet clients’ requirements.
  • Provide feedback to the management team on market trends, competitive threats, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers.
  • Attend industry conferences, networking events, and other opportunities to promote Fothion and its services.


ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Achieve/exceed sales quota.
  • Achieve/exceed other objectives as agreed annually/quarterly.
  • Work with Business Development Team to ensure targets are met and skills are developed.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven sales experience in the IT sector, preferably in managed services, cloud solutions, or hardware and software sales.
  • Strong understanding of IT concepts and the ability to discuss solutions and services with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in BA, Marketing, IT, or related field is preferred.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, coordination, and presentation skills.
  • Driven, self-motivated personality with a strong desire to succeed in a competitive environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Works with setting priorities and creation of sales related business plans.
  • Easy to adapt to changes.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend events.


SKILLS:

  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to identify new opportunities.
  • Keen attention to detail and a high level of professionalism.
  • Has experience using CRM and Autotask PSA (non-negotiable).


WORKING CONDITIONS

Our office is located in West Hills, CA. This role operates within a hybrid setup, encompassing both remote and in-office work arrangements as well as require travel to client sites, conferences, and industry events (networking, tradeshows, and the like).
