What are the responsibilities and job description for the Workover Foreman position at FOUNDATION ENERGY MANAGEMENT, LLC?

Position Summary:

The Workover Foreman  position  is  integral  to  support  Foundation’s  mission  to  

provide  safe  and efficient  operations.  The  position  requires  strong  organizational  skills  

to  identify  and  address  both current and future projects for the company’s assets. This 

position requires the ability to adequately display a broad and deep understanding to management of 

the oil and gas industry properties. Travel to field locations will be required for this position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

-      Coordinate with operations foreman and superintendent to set rig schedules. Generate 

procedures and PO requests for well work identified in the rig schedule.

-      Responsible for scheduling vendors for well work, overseeing workover and submitting reports 

on daily activities – including daily cost and projected final costs

-      BOP certification required. (if not held, company will fund training to obtain.)

-      Directly Reports to the Region Production Superintendent, at times will be used in D&C 

operations reporting to D&C Manager.

-      Effectively manage costs on workover operations. Demonstrated ability to generate ideas to 

improve cost and performance on workovers and well-run times.

-      Ensure all environmental and safety compliance issues are met.

Qualifications:

-      A  minimum  of  5  years  of  Oil  and  Gas  operations  and  equipment  experience  with  3 

 years directly  related to  operational  workovers.  Experience  with  various  procedures  

including  acid stimulation, cement squeezes, and perforating a plus

-      Excellent  verbal  and  written  communication  skills  as  well  as  problem  solving  and  

project management skills required.

Education/Experience:

High School diploma or G.E.D. with a minimum of three years industry experience.

Computer and Technical Skills:

-  Excellent computer  skills  including  proficiency  with  Microsoft  Office,  especially  advanced  Excel and Outlook skills.
