Monday through Friday: 8-5 pm
Receptionist/Accounting Clerk Responsibilities:
- Input new vehicle inventory data into the dealership management system
- Handling all title and tag work for in-state and out-of-state purchases
- Billing and processing title work for wholesale transactions
- Reconciling title schedule and cutting customer refund checks
- Verify all documents are accurately completed and correctly signed
- Process deals and paperwork on a timely basis
- Post retail and wholesale vehicle purchases and sales in the accounting system
- Post dealer trade exchanges in the accounting system
- Post daily deposit
- Issue payment for lien balances and submit to appropriate parties
- Process daily deposits
- Reconcile dealer trade receivables and payables schedules
- Assist with the reconciliation of new and used vehicle inventory schedules
- Assist with monthly floor plan audits
- Assist with other duties and assignments as directed
Accounting Assistant Qualifications:
- Automotive accounting experience preferred
- Title and tag work experience preferred
- CDK software experience preferred
- 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of relevant software applications including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Ability to effectively work and communicate with fellow staff members
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Desire and ability to work independently and within a team setting
