Job Responsibilities:
Engineer needed with strong electrical power background and project management experience. The SENIOR ELECTRICAL PROJECT ENGINEER will have responsibility for conception, analysis, design, justification, cost tracking and management of capital, maintenance, and process improvement projects. Other functions and key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Implements plant improvements, expansion projects, process and manufacturing systems optimization, process changes and new technologies.
- Resolve operational problems related to projects; minimize delays and/or unexpected cost increases.
- Interpret client requirements and identify/address design parameters and engineering problems.
- Perform technical calculations supporting design requirements.
- Provide Project Management on multi-million-dollar Capital Projects.
- Prepare Critical Path Project Schedule.
- Manage project installation/construction, start-up, commissioning, and transfer of technology and training to plant operating personnel.
- Adherence to project scope, budget, schedule, and anticipated performance results.
- Demonstrate strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Cost/benefit and ROI analyses.
Job Requirements:
- BS Degree in Engineering required. MS in Electrical Engineering preferred.
- 7 years’ experience in Manufacturing/Processing environment required. Preferably experience in the spirits industry.
- Experience leading large scale Electrical Capital Projects.
- Project Management skills.
- Strong understanding of Manufacturing and Supply Chain Processes.
- Continuous Improvement leader.
- Technical engineering consultation, assistance, and leadership:
- Electrical Controls.
- Risk Management.
- Environment, Health, and Safety.
- Process Monitoring Systems.
- HMI Applications.
- Hands-on troubleshooting experience.
- Ability to read/understand electrical schematics, P&ID’s, ladder diagrams, technical manuals and maintain documentation.
- Lean Manufacturing knowledge preferred.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communications skills, both oral and written. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees, management, and vendors.
- Some travel required.
- Must be U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
Salary Range: $125k - $135k
