Framatome is seeking a Ceramics/Materials Engineer in the Fuel Reliability & Materials Group in Richland, WA. This highly motivated individual will be responsible for the materials design bases supporting the ceramic uranium-oxide fuel pellet design, as well as some support for metallic components. This job requires being familiar with both the manufacturing process requirements as well as the fuel performance aspects of the fuel during irradiation in a commercial nuclear reactor. As a Materials Engineer, you will work closely with various company teams to facilitate the delivery of fuel products to customers. You will also work on the development and qualification of new fuel pellet specifications, as well as providing resolution of issues to support manufacturing and customer needs.
