Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
In response to significant growth in our Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) business and portfolio, Framatome is looking for an experienced, self-starting I&C engineer with a proven track record of driving multiple, simultaneous activities to closure.
This position reports to the I&C Platform Product Management group. The I&C Platform Product Management group is responsible for managing and maintaining the lifecycle of Framatome’s US I&C platforms and acting as a resource for in-depth product knowledge.
This includes (but is not limited to):
- Product design changes
- Product qualification
- Product lifecycle management/oversight
- Analyzing/dispositioning potential issues
- Responding to customer (internal/external) questions
To support these activities, we are looking for an engineer to fully engross themselves in our I&C platform products and perform tasks such as:
- Develop design changes impacting Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs)
- Serve as project engineer for development/qualification projects
- Develop and review product design requirement
- Research and propose a path forward for the evolution of current products
- Collaborate with other organizations (domestic and international) to align processes
- Represent Framatome in front of customers and regulators
- Support and lead Operational Excellence initiatives to continuously improve group performance
