Our Bristol, VA location is seeking to fill a HR/Payroll clerk position. This is an
administrative support position where the employee performs diversified clerical and
administrative support, as well as other miscellaneous office duties.
Educational Experience Requirements:
• High School Diploma/GED Required;
• Minimum Two (2) Years Experience Preferred; or Equivalent Combination of
Education and Experience
• Knowledge of ADP Software Preferred
• Knowledge of Cisco IP Phone System is a plus
• ROSS ERP Experience is a plus

• Possess standard verbal/written communication skills to interact with line workers,
supervisors, and managerial/administrative personnel
• Possess dependability to be consistently at work and on time
• Possess working knowledge of filing methods, Business English, spelling, and
arithmetic with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Possess working knowledge and/or skill in word processing, spread sheets, and
other computer applications relevant to HR
• Possess working knowledge of HR/Payroll practices and procedures including
applicable state and federal laws
• Possess a “Team” mentality with ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Possess good time management skills with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced
environment
• Possess ability to process, maintain, and disburse confidential and sensitive
information
• Possess close visual acuity, near/far vision, and upper limb coordination
• Possess ability to sit for extended periods during normal phase duties
• Possess light/medium (5-20 lbs.) lifting capability during normal phase duties
Essential Job Duties:
• Submits employment processing paperwork for all new hourly personnel to
corporate human resources department.
• Sets up/maintains employee files; assigns and enters hourly employee number in
ADP payroll system.
• Submits payroll status change information to corporate human resources
department and records employee status changes on site personnel record.
• Compiles data from site personnel records and prepares reports as required.
• Examines site personnel files to answer inquiries and provide information to
authorized people at site and corporate locations.
• Submits required data for weekly corporate payroll processing.
• Compiles and submits employee benefits paperwork to corporate human
resources department for use in employee benefits administration.
• Maintains site accident/injury reports.
• Prepares and manages internal employee spreadsheets for corporate HR.
• Assist sales with basic functions as required
Other Responsibilities:
Performs receptionist duties as required.
Performs any other general office duties as directed by management personnel to
ensure efficient operation of facility.
