Franklin Foot Care, PC is seeking an energetic & compassionate, full time Board Eligible/Board Certified DPM to join our dynamic, growing practice. We have office locations in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. We are a physician owned busy, family practice . Our podiatrists diagnose illnesses, treat injuries and perform surgeries involving feet and ankles for patients of all ages.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, treat, or prescribe treatment of the foot, ankle, and other related structures using medical histories, physical examinations, x-rays, and laboratory test results
  • Perform foot and ankle surgeries within the scope of practice
  • Treat sport-related injuries & fractures
  • Diabetic Foot Care
  • Wound Care
  • Prescribe medications, corrective devices, physical therapy, and appropriate methods of foot care
  • Administer medications and local anesthetics
  • Review patients’ medical history
  • Advise patients on foot care and general wellness practices
  • Record all diagnoses, treatments, prescriptions, etc. in EHR
  • Order additional medical tests (like X-rays, ultrasounds and bone density tests) to form a better diagnosis if necessary
  • Refer patients to other physicians or specialists for consultation when necessary

Skills

  • Experience as a Podiatrist
  • Excellent knowledge of therapeutic and surgical treatments for the lower extremities
  • Familiar with all types of foot problems including genetic abnormalities and deformities
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well both with patients of all ages
  • Up-to-date with latest technologies and treatments in Podiatry
  • Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $84,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
