Mortgage Servicer I

Description

Summary

• Processes all loan products and payments into the loan servicing system in accordance with industry guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Processes payments in accordance with current Industry Guidelines
• Interprets documents accurately to on-board all products into Loan Servicing System
• Logs reception of Recorded Documents and Title Insurance Policies
• Processes pay-off quotes and verifications of mortgage
• Prepares paid-in-full files for off-site archive
• Resolves suspended tax service contracts in a timely manner
• Interprets documents accurately to ensure quality control of data entry into Loan Servicing System
• Prepares loan files for imaging and scan files
• Performs quality control of imaged loan files and accurately amend files as a result of findings
• Processes ACH files in accordance with current Industry Guidelines
• Submits files to third party quality control vendor, monitors progress, and disseminates results
• Is responsible for adhering to operational controls, including compliance with all required regulations and policies such as the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) to ensure the safety and soundness of the State Financial Network.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma plus 1 to 3 years of related financial services experience required.
