What are the ongoing responsibilities of an Internal Sales Consultant?
- Work in partnership with assigned Market Leader to develop and execute on a territory business plan.
- Increase assets under management by delivering needs-based solutions to both new and existing advisors through proactive phone and digital outreach.
- Develop relationships with focused segment of financial advisors by sharing business building strategies and value-add content.
- Support evolving strategic sales and marketing campaigns within assigned territory.
- Deliver effective presentations promoting Franklin Templeton’s products, services, and value proposition to internal and external audiences.
- Stay current on key market and industry trends.
- Demonstrate proficiency of the sales process by keeping accurate records of customer interactions through Franklin Templeton’s Customer Relationship Management system.
- Serve as a liaison for all operational and service issues.
- Develop and enhance industry and product knowledge through ongoing training to effectively communicate and build credibility with financial advisors.
- Demonstrate professionalism at internal and external meetings.
- Have an ownership mentality, demonstrate a sense of urgency and desire to win.
- Able to learn quickly, be a great teammate, and lead by example.
- Engage in daily/weekly team training and travel in territory with Market Leader as necessary.
- BA or BS degree required. Candidates may have a broad array of majors.
- FINRA SIE, Series 7, & 63 Licenses required with training provided for eligible candidates.
- Two to five years equivalent sales experience preferred.
- Highly motivated, possess critical reasoning skills, and an ability to incorporate direct feedback.
- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, both over the phone and in person.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
