Field / Claim Investigator essential job functions include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting insurance claims investigations, including taking recorded claimant and witness statements as well as performing scene investigations
- Completing multiple types of complex claims investigations
- Reviewing assignments and supporting documentation to determine case objectives and client expectations
- Daily submission of updates regarding work performed on each case
- Maintaining a sufficient level of client billable hours
- Preparing and dictating detailed investigation reports
- Adhering to strict due dates
Requirements
Candidates must have:

- Ability to work from a home-based office and work flexible hours
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle
- Minimum auto insurance in the amount of $100,000 each person/$300,000 each accident bodily injury/$50,000 property damage
- Smartphone and Computer or laptop with good internet connection
- Licensing: Applicants in Florida should possess a current Florida class C Private Investigator license, or Class CC PI Intern license.
PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice or related field
- Loss Prevention experience
- General knowledge of insurance law
- AOE/COE investigative experience
- Claim Investigator / Field investigations experience – Face to face statements
- Experience in investigation of Life Insurance and Disability claims, Workers Compensation, product/auto/general liability claims, and contestable death claims
Field / Claim Investigator salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. This is a Part-Time Hourly / Non-Exempt Position.
