What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Fraternal Order of Eagles?
We are looking for an enthusiastic bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Good bartenders will be friendly and able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Compensation includes hourly/weekly pay starting at $8.25 and all tips. (We do not hold credit card tips.)
Our club is focused on "People Helping People" and is a fun, laid back work environment. We hope to find someone who has great initiative, sense of urgency and the ability to multi-task.
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and social room patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Responsible for processing payments, tabs, and cash handling
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Check membership card status and enforce club rules
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and alcohol safety laws and regulations
Skills
- Experience in hospitality preferred
- Knowledge of basic mixers, pours, garnishes and preparation of standard cocktails
- Computer literacy
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Ability to work efficiently unsupervised and complete all designated tasks

Pay: $8.25 - $9.75 per hour
