Fraternal Order of Eagles is a small non-profit business in Las Cruces, NM. The F.O.E. donates more than $1 million a over the past 10 years to local communities, fundraisers, charities and more. As part of its philosophy, the F.O.E. gives back 100 percent of monies raised in the form of grants.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns or complaints
- Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food industry or food service preferred
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and different types of alcoholic beverages
- Basic math skills for measuring and mixing ingredients
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating a cash register
- Strong hospitality skills with a friendly and outgoing personality
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
