Job Summary:
This role will lead the Total Maintenance and Repair (TM&R) and Preventative Maintenance (PM) contract creation, reviews, negotiation, and closing process striving for compromises and mutual acceptance that balance business, sales, customer desires to win the deal and to continue driving the business forward. Drive strategic vision to improve product portfolios for customers.
Principle Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, execution, and continuous refinement of pricing strategies for TM&R and PM contracts, incorporating market insights, competitive landscape, cost analysis, and customer perceived value.
- Complete oversight and management of the full lifecycle of TM&R and PM contracts from creation to end of agreement.
- Ensure strict adherence to mutually agreed-upon contract terms, including operational aspects such as hours, overtime, applications, etc., swiftly addressing any discrepancies in coordination with internal teams and clients to uphold contractual integrity and client satisfaction.
- On-going interface with clients regarding contractual issues during the lifetime of the agreement.
- Partner with Sales management to determine rates and meet with customers to negotiate pricing and terms and conditions.
- Participates as a member of the negotiating team, assuming responsibility for explaining positions and resolving matters of a business nature related to the proposed contract.
- Assessment of entire portfolio being offered for each contract and potential contract and recommend creative solutions to meets desired outcomes.
- Perform risk analysis review for all contractual documents and recommend mitigating options.
- Review, adjust and maintain all repair work orders.
- Create, negotiate, and finalize budget and cost management for all TM&R and PM fleets.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, contract management or business intelligence or equivalent years of work experience
- Demonstrated ability with planning and project management
- Proven ability to analyze contracts, data and hit KPIs
- Capability to review and understand complex contracts
- Previous experience working with fleet management desired
- Experience working in material handling industry a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Highly motivated, well-organized, and quality focused
- Proficient in MS Office Suite required and having additional desirable skills in Excel and Power BI is preferred.
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both oral and written
- Must be a team-oriented professional who can handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- A demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment, to be proactive, to work independently of day-to-day supervision.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory, and bilingual fluency in both English and Spanish is an advantageous asset.
