Our Recruiting Coordinator works closely with our recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates in a fast-paced environment, often providing the candidate with their first impression of our organization. The ideal candidate will be organized, works effectively with internal and external clients and candidates, possess great communication skills, have the ability to shift gears quickly, and enjoy the challenge of helping to recruit great talent.
Responsibilities
Under direction of the Talent Acquisition Manager the responsibilities include:
- Schedule phone and in-person interviews for candidates with recruiters, hiring managers, and interview groups.
- Manage external job advertising requests and maintain active advertising database for staff and faculty requisitions.
- Reconcile and process expense reports for faculty recruiting and relocation.
- Manage other components of recruiting operations including the candidate referral program, university partnerships, and faculty recruiting administrative support.
- Arrange travel and subsequent reimbursements for candidates, as necessary.
- Update candidate records, job descriptions, and requisitions in the applicant tracking system in real-time and as needed.
- Identify opportunities for improving candidate experience and workflow efficiency.
- Provide backup support in managing in the newly approved requisition queue within the applicant tracking system to assign requisitions to recruiters and update requisitions with related information, as appropriate.
- Assist in the coordination of other recruiting activities, as needed, including career fair and event attendance, faculty and executive recruiting coordination, and other duties/projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2 years of administrative support experience or recruiting coordination with heavy scheduling and client interaction
- Experience scheduling in Microsoft Outlook
- Experience making travel arrangements
- Must be impeccably detail-oriented and have excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to work in a team environment demonstrating excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize, identify, and eliminate roadblocks, navigates problems into solutions
- Must be highly organized and experienced in handling multiple tasks and time-sensitive information
This position is patient facing and/or requires access to Fred Hutch clinical facilities. As such, full COVID-19 vaccination is required as a condition of employment, without exception. Booster doses are strongly recommended but not required. If declining a booster, completion of the COVID-19 Vaccination Status Form Questionnaire and COVID-19 Booster Declination Training is required. The hourly pay range for this position is from $24.96 to $35.53 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
