The Taylor Lab is recruiting 2-3 postdoctoral fellows for the Taylor Lab Innovation Fellowship Program. These positions come with full salary and research support supplemented by an innovation fund started with generous donations to the lab. This fellowship program will feature more structured professional development and training designed to ensure that fellows succeed both in the Taylor lab, and beyond. Relocation assistance may also apply.
Research in the Taylor Lab has two broad areas of interest: 1. Analysis of B cells specific for antigens derived from pathogens or tumors, and 2. Ex vivo and in vivo engineering of B cells for experimental and/or clinical use. Positions in both areas of research are available.
Applications should include a CV, the names of three references, and short cover letter describing your research interests. Candidates from backgrounds underrepresented in the sciences are especially encouraged to apply.
Other Benefits of the Taylor Lab Innovation Fellowship:
The innovation fund will cover any costs of key trainings identified in the fellow’s professional development plan such as management training, bioinformatics, grant writing, or other skills important for career advancement.
Fellows will have the option of developing mentoring committees meeting at least once per year to provide additional guidance on training and progress. These committees will be rationally constructed to include individuals in the ideal career path identified by the candidate.
Fellows able to secure funding for their salaries through other funding mechanisms can reallocate salary funds budgeted by the lab to support & manage a research technician to work exclusively for the fellow.
