Housekeeping
Under the general supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor, the Housekeeper is responsible for the overall cleanliness and housekeeping tasks of Fredonia Place in accordance with the Fredonia Place Assisted Living philosophy. The Housekeeper is charged with the responsibility of ensuring the safety, dignity, confidentiality, and comfort of each resident. Assist residents in meeting their apartment needs to maintain their highest level of wellness. S/he is in communication with the Housekeeping Supervisor at minimum, once per shift to provide a report (verbal and/or written) of any concerns or issues in resident apartments and any changes in condition among residents.
Hours of work:
Flexible schedule: Monday – Friday; Tuesday – Saturday; Wednesday – Sunday; or Saturday & Sunday.
- Assist with cleaning and tidying residents’ room/apartment
- Wash all soiled or dirty linens/clothing regardless of laundry as needed
- Assist residents, as needed, to common areas, dining room, restrooms, apartments, activities, and any area residents need to visit
- Encourage residents to participate in activities.
