Please note: This position has the possibility to work remotely up to 100% of the time. The position will require occasional travel to the Phoenix corporate offices and/or site locations. This position may be performed anywhere in the U.S. except California, New Hampshire, Michigan, Illinois and New York. Additional states may be excluded from remote work based on business factors. Should the position shift to in-office work in the future, the company will offer relocation benefits at that time should the position meet the established eligibility for these benefits.
Description
- Determine applicant qualifications by conducting resume/credential/application reviews. Conduct comparison of those elements with job requirements and thoroughly pre-screen those applicants whose background/experience best meet requirements of the position. Initiate background checks, prepare pay models, generate and extend offers as an agent of the company.
- Maintain lines of communication with candidates. Manage real time requisition and candidate process flow within Applicant Tracking System, to ensure weekly analytics and metrics reporting is accurate. Maintain tracking system of all assigned requisitions and applicant activity.
- Using traditional and non-traditional resources to generate candidate leads; source and attract a qualified pool of both active/passive candidates through sourcing techniques that include: social media, job posting boards, cold-calling, networking/referrals, internet mining, professional networking sites.
- Consult with hiring managers and Human Resources to develop pipeline strategy that will best identify candidates to meet job requirements and preferred qualifications.
- Lead Company/industry/diversity recruitment events and job fairs, both locally and nationally. Participate in the capacity of a spokesperson at community and occupational/school meetings, so to increase brand awareness of the Company and its job opportunities.
- Lead staffing/recruitment projects and team training to support department and Company initiatives; i.e. military, trade schools, social media and contractor training.
- Cultivate a strong customer service partnership with hiring managers, work collaboratively on teams and consult effectively and independently with all levels of the organization.
- Responsible for preparing both individual routine and ad hoc reporting as needed.
- Possess and apply broad knowledge and understanding of EEO and Affirmative Action policies as determined by the company as well as state/federal agencies to ensure compliance

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or GED and six (6) years of Recruiting/HR-related experience, OR- Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of Recruiting/HR-related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated recruitment experience, with ability to source candidates on multiple platforms; i.e. LinkedIn, really, ZipRecruiter, as well as via referrals and other sourcing channels- Comprehension of recruiting processes, procedures and sourcing techniques
- Experience working with SuccessFactors or other ATS, as well as with SAP or other HRIS
- Experience working in a Human Resources function that included recruiting activities or was within an employment/placement agency
- Capable of working within a multi-task department, while supporting high volume positions
- Intermediate experience level with Excel
- Project experience with data and metrics reporting
- Work experience within the mining or industrial/manufacturing sector

- Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment
- Position is in busy, non-smoking office located in Phoenix, AZ
- Location requires mobility in an office environment; each floor is accessible by elevator
- Occasionally work will be performed in a mine, outdoor or manufacturing plant setting
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear and see
- Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to ten (10) pounds
- Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required
