What are the responsibilities and job description for the CAD Technician position at freese?

Utilizes FNI CAD Standards and follows instructions per direction from PM, Designers, and Lead CAD Staff. Prepares routine to moderately-difficult engineering and construction drawings. Interprets sketches and markups to incorporate into sheets. Applies revisions from markups and backchecks work. Places and manages files according to BIM/CAD Standards and prepares final drawings. Utilizes surveyor data. Prepares accurate and complete layouts, cross-sections, and production documents with direct input from the Designer or Engineer. Coaches CAD Staff Other duties as assigned. Duties and activities may change at any time. Qualifications Required Qualifications Experience: 2 years experience performing BIM/CAD functions in a 3D environment. Aptitude for mathematics, reading drawings and maps, 3D visualization, and a moderate degree of computer and BIM/CAD software competency. Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Associate degree in BIM/CAD drafting and design preferred.
