Freezer Engineering LLC takes a controlled approach to Risk Management to purposefully allow room to let your creative energies flow. Each day you will perform on a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard design and drafting techniques for a small project or selected Segments of a larger project.

Our CAD Designer / Drafter 2:

• Convert sketches, redlines to Professional CAD Drawings
• Assist with development of design guidelines, specifications, and design procedures.
• Willingness to learn and become intimately familiar with AutoCAD products
• Attention to detail, striving to attain first pass quality on drawings

Basic Qualifications:

• Prior experience on the basics of the AutoCAD platform and generating drawings
• Willingness to continuously learn more on AutoCAD and electrical, instrumentation, and controls system drawings
• Structured, systematic approach to getting things done, need to be efficient with getting things done
• Eye for detail

Special Conditions of Employment

• Must possess a valid US Driver’s License.
• Must be willing to submit to pre-employment, random and for-cause drug testing, as well as any other drug testing required by our clients and statutory regulations.

General Requirements

• Possess high degree of initiative, creativity, communication skills, self-supervision, and respect for safety requirements.
• Must be a team player & work closely with maintenance, production, engineering, and outside services.
• Must have a flexible work schedule - shift work, overtime and weekends and schedule changes are routine and required aspects of the position. We expect Monday through Friday day time availability to accomplish work and be available for meetings.

Provide day-to-day technical support to Design team.

• Able to control and manage conflict, risks, changes, safety, quality, cost & schedule in an organized manner and often time-constrained environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills to effectively interact with and present to Senior Management, partners and external stakeholders.
• A desire for continuous learning.

Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
Currently we are all working remote (home based). When we return to office, we will be based out of Englewood, Colorado

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Englewood, CO 80112: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• AutoCAD: 1 year (Required)
• Drafting PLC systems: 1 year (Preferred)
