Export Coordinator
YOUR DUTIES
Process export documentation in a timely and efficient manner and in accordance to our procedures and country requirements exercising personal judgement and discretion.
Primary duty will consist of non-manual work and utilizing discretion and judgement to engage vendors to increase branch and company margins on each shipment.
Always utilize discretion and personal judgement to ship goods using the most efficient and cost-effective route to increase margin on each shipment.
Manage engaging vendors and suppliers.
Authority to negotiate rates and make decisions pertaining to shipping vendors.
Held accountable and responsible for managing own profit and loss (P&L).
Ensure product compliance, operating efficiency, with a specific focus on productivity, quality and profitability,
Oversee pick up on behalf of the client/ agent as required.
Responsible for accurate completion of airway bills.
Manage invoicing and collection of freight, agency and disbursements from clients.
YOUR PROFILE
Minimum 2 years of Air or Ocean export experience.
Minimum 2 years of freight forwarding experience.
Working knowledge of Cargowise1 (desirable but not essential)
Excellent communication & customer service skills.
Accurate and detail oriented.
Work well under pressure and ability to multitask.
Able to work in a team environment and independently.
