SEO Specialist

We’re looking for an experienced and versatile qualified SEO Specialist to contribute to our digital marketing efforts by managing all search engine optimization activities.

The SEO Specialist will manage all SEO operations (e.g., content strategy & development, keyword research, and link building) for increasing a company’s search rankings on various search engines.

To succeed in this role, you must have a sound knowledge of all SEO practices. Have a passion for search engine optimization, a creative thinker, and a person who holds the ability to work with a dynamic team to meet our digital goals. Key Functional Areas of Responsibility

• Optimizing website copy and landing pages for SEO/SEM purposes

• Performing keyword optimization as well as ongoing keyword discovery and expansion

• Researching and implementing SEO recommendations for content optimization

• Writing search engine optimized copy for our websites, landing pages, and social media

• Tracking, reporting, and analyzing website analytics

• Executing tests, collecting and analyzing data/results, identifying trends/insights to achieve maximum return on paid search efforts

• Recommending changes to the website's layout, architecture, linking, content, and other similar factors for improving SEO positions of target keywords

• Collaborating with the development team for ensuring that SEO practices are implemented properly

• Researching and analyzing competitors’--Analyzing keywords and SEO techniques

• Compiling and presenting SEO guidelines

• Developing and implementing effective link building strategies

Qualifications

• Prior experience as an SEO Specialist or SEO content writer

• Proven experience in managing SEM on various search engines (e.g. Google, Bing, Yahoo)

• Experience with a content management system (e.g. WordPress)

• Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tools.

• Sound knowledge of digital marketing techniques (e.g. customer acquisition, performance marketing, and conversion)

• Experience with multivariate experiments and A/B testing

• Sound understating of search engine algorithms as well as ranking factors

• Familiarity with best SEO/SEM practices and latest trends

• Strong verbal as well as written communication skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a relevant field preferred

• Hubspot experience is a plus

• Sound understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS development, as well as constraints, is a plus
