Position Overview
The Cloud Architect will design and build the cloud computing architecture that all business lines rely on to operate in a flexible and agile fashion. It is the cloud architect who has the knowledge and capability required to craft cloud solutions to meet and exceed the requirements of the organization. The Cloud Architect will continue to support on-premises infrastructure during migration and hybrid configuration as appropriate.

Position Overview

The Cloud Architect will continue to support on-premises infrastructure during migration and hybrid configuration as appropriate.
Role And Responsibilities
- Design, build, implement, and support a highly available hybrid Cloud network infrastructure.
- Establish scalable, and repeatable architectural patterns
- Partner with technology leaders and business units to best understand the organization’s needs and plan, design, implement & support production data centers
- Ensure on premiums network, Cloud network (Azure), and data centers are highly available with minimal latency or system / application interruption
- Design, build and support Azure Virtual Desktops, VMs, build process using golden images, autoscaling and security
- Support Technology projects to deliver superior solutions to technical and business stakeholders
- Provide L3 support for Cloud, network, and telephony related services
- Administer tools & products, providing escalated support to L2 team
- Ensure all network equipment, tools and practices conform with auditing, compliance and governance using Bank and Azure policies
- Evaluate and administer Azure Active Directory
- Participate in team on-call rotation and provide support during project and operations related cutovers
- Plan, design and coordinate the implementation of WAN or Internet related activities in support of defined requirements generated by business and growth demands
- Validate project requirements, define project scope, develop project schedules and produce detailed designs for assigned project
- Prepare and maintain up to date documentation details of the deployed solutions
- Other tasks as assigned
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Architect
- Seven (7) years’ experience building and supporting Azure hybrid infrastructure
- Five (5) years’ experience architecting, implementing, optimizing, and supporting AD, Azure VPN, AVD, Defender, InTune, O365, and MS Teams in a hybrid infrastructure
- Five (5) years’ automation experience using PowerShell or similar
- Prior experience leading data center migrations
- Five (5) years’ experience supporting on-premises network and telephony infrastructure
- Five (5) years’ experience implementing, configuring, testing, and supporting Cisco equipment and network protocols: (spanning-tree, OSPF, BGP), LAN/WAN,
- TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, routing, QOS, VLAN, ACL, NAC
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- CCNA, ITIL, MCSE a plus
