Security Guard – Massillon

$15.50/Hour

The Fresh Mark facility in Massillon, Ohio, has an immediate need for 3rd Shift Security Guards. Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities are available.

Must be hard working, detail oriented, and drug free. Fresh Mark provides an excellent work environment and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, vision and 401K.

Key Accountabilities

• Patrol industrial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
• Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Answer telephone calls to take messages, answer questions, and provide information during non-business hours or when switchboard is closed.
• Warn persons of rule infractions or violations and notify appropriate member of management.
• Conduct random checks of individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into or out of restricted area.
• Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure operational use and to detect evidence of tampering.
• Authorize and check in trucks. Also, check trucks leaving premises.

Requirements

• Availability to work any shift.
• Must be able to work assigned weekends and holidays.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be trustworthy and pass background check.
• Good communication skills.
• Follow proper procedure.
• Works well with team.
• High School graduate or equivalent.
