WHAT YOU’LL DO:
The Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing the usability of the FRESHFARM office, administration of org-wide systems & tools, and execution of key operations and nance processes to ensure the success of FRESHFARM’s work as an organization. This position will also support H functions and take on a leadership role in sta onboarding and employee engagement.
Internal Operations & Communications (35% of total work time)
- Administer internal communication systems, organization insurance policies, and org-wide subscription services & software (i.e. Adobe, Amazon Prime, Microso 365)
- Monitor inquiries sent to general FRESHFARM inbox and coordinate response with team
- Contribute to all-staff communications, in coordination with FRESHFARM leadership
Oce Management (30% of total work time)
- Develop & execute systems for purchasing office supplies & managing technology and IT services
- Manage company office membership, amenities, and key-card access in co-working space
- Check mail weekly at office and at PO box (1380 Monroe St NW) and distribute to sta
Sta Engagement & H Administration (25% of total work time)
- Support planning & execution of sta engagement &appreciation events and all-staff meetings
- Contribute to the development, coordination, and execution to new hire orientation and training
Financial Administration (10% of total work time)
- Monitor FRESHFARM Payables inbox and enter bills and sta reimbursements on a weekly basis
- Remote deposit and create records for checks received by mail on a weekly basis
- Process and mail checks on a weekly basis to provide payment to FRESHFARM vendors

THE DETAILS:
- This is a full-time, exempt position compensated at $48,000 - $52,000
- This employee will be expected to work Monday - Friday during normal business hours. Very infrequent weekend or holiday hours may be required to support FRESHFARM’s market sta.
- This role is primarily based in the FRESHFARM officxe (655 New York Ave NW). This employee will also need to go weekly to our PO box (1380 Monroe St NW). Due to COVID-19 our office is currently open for essential work only, including office management. Remote work with approval may be permitted, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
- 72 hours sick leave, 11 holidays & 3 floating holidays (8 hours each), and 80 hours of vacation leave (with an increase after 3 years of service) are provided annually, all paid. Employees also have access to 8 weeks of paid parental leave and bereavement leave, as needed. Typically, FRESHFARM office also close for a 1 week winter break, with paid time-off for salaried employees.

PHYSICAL & OTHE REQUIREMENTS
- 1-4 years of experience with administrative or project management work
- Ability to occasionally li/move/transport objects weighing up to 35 lbs.
- Access to personal smartphone required
- Proficient with GSuite, including Google Docs and Sheets
