Job Description: To act as a Senior Operations Manager responsible for supporting the mission, vision, and values of Freshido through all that he/she/they do in their role every day. A General Manager at Freshido will work towards accomplishing stated goals and objectives to achieve desired results, focusing on the long-term profitability of the company while simultaneously developing restaurant staff.
Duties
● Meets or exceeds established sales, revenue, and profitability goals.
● Ensures the financial integrity of all P&L (Profit & Loss) statements by properly
adhering to our specific systems.
● Oversee the integrity and operational functionality of all POS and security systems
and equipment.
● Work directly with vendors to ensure that the restaurant equipment is kept in
satisfactory working order, maintaining the highest degree of usability and cleanliness.
● Communicate with leaders, hourly team members, and guests, providing positive
feedback and promoting a positive image of the restaurant, and create good team
morale.
● Regularly counsel and coach team members and have the authority to suspend team
members pending review due to misconduct.
● Takes quick and responsible action in solving problems and is able to use reason
when dealing with disciplinary issues.
● Immediately addresses instances of serious misconduct, as defined in the Employee
Handbook.
● Evaluate staff using formal evaluations.
● Can lead a shift effectively and develop members of staff who are capable and
focused.
● Ensure and oversee staff to provide a safe and harassment-free workplace.
● Take quick and responsible action in solving problems, stay unbiased, and be able to
use accurate policy focused reasoning when dealing with disciplinary issues.
● Train, develop, and motivate team members and leaders to meet or exceed
established standards.
● Training and following the training guide program and ensuring team members have
all the necessary attributes to be in a certain position.
● Communicate with leaders, hourly team members, and guests, providing positive
feedback and promoting a positive image of the restaurant and good team member
morale.
● Assists in preparing weekly work schedules and ensures the schedule is implemented
properly.
● Assists in addressing issues resulting from critical violations to the business policies,
and values, as well as staying in compliance with federal & state laws involving health and
safety, etc.
● Safeguard company assets, including funds, equipment, and the Freshido premises,
taking appropriate action when necessary.
● Regularly interviews applicants for employment, assisting in making hiring decisions
for the restaurant, and regularly coaches and includes other leaders in the process.

● Has knowledge of accounting and financial management principles with a focus on
budgeting and forecasting revenue goals and objectives.
● Must have or be willing to obtain Food Handlers Certification and understand and
follow OSHA and HACCP compliance standards.
● Must be at least 18 years old.
Physical Demands:
● Must be able to work in a climate-controlled, restaurant environment.
● Ability to read and write in English to process paperwork and follow up on any
actions necessary.
● Manual dexterity is needed for keyboarding and other repetitive tasks.
● Must be able to frequently stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach above shoulder level.
● Must be able to lift/carry up to 40 lbs.
