MEDIA BLASTER
Location: 7736 E. Springfield Ave., Selma CA 93662
Job Type: Full Time-Hourly
Department: Fabrication Shop

Job Summary:
Responsible for the removal of material and discoloration on the product while performing duties to support the direct labor operations of the fabrication department.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prep work area and product for blasting
- Inspect each part for cleanliness and defects after blast.
- Ensure proper removal of debris in the workstation.
- Maintain media blasting equipment by daily inspection of hoses or nozzles.
- Perform any and all other job-related tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor.
- Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1-year experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently, detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee operates in a loud noise level environment. This position regularly works near moving mechanical parts, heavy equipment, and tools. This position regularly works in outside weather conditions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and outdoor weather conditions.

- Bending/stooping/Squatting/Kneeling – occasional to frequent
- Lift and carry up to 50 to 100 pounds on a frequent basis.
Personal Protective Equipment:
The employee must wear approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, a respirator, hearing protection, and steel-toed shoes always.
The following personal protective equipment is required and must be worn at all times while performing the duties of this job and while in marked designated areas:
