Responsibilities
- Research and evaluation of various methods for the reprocessing/recycling of unavoidable silicone waste from the production of medical components
- Implementation of the most ecological and economical solution
- Support of the Engineering department by independent execution and documentation of series of tests, and component testing
- Design and manufacturing of components, special equipment, fixtures and production aids
- Creation of product drawings
- Support of standardization and validation of manufacturing processes
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical/ Manufacturing/Plastics Engineering, or equivalent
- Self-initiative and independence
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Fluent in English
- Skilled in MS-Office and common CAD software use
- Knowledge of design and manufacturing for 3D printing processes is an advantage
