Summary/Objective
The Order Picker will be working as warehouse employees from our Virginia plant and will perform a range of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming orders and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing and organizing stock in the warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
- Arrive to work on time and be ready to work in a safe manner
- Manage pick ticket orders
- Pull warehouse items from the shelves based on number, size, color, quantity, and quality requirements
- Ensure orders are accurate
- Stage items correctly for various departments
- Operate handling equipment and ensure safety regulations are followed
- Oversee stock replenishment
- Ensures warehouse goals are met
- Shrink wrap product to pallets
- Packs warehouse orders as necessary
- Operates scanners so that the proper order is picked and inventory is managed accurately
- Perform other general warehouse duties as needed

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to noise levels of => 85dB and may require the use of appropriate personal protective equipment.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Required Education and Experience
- Ability to read, write and compute simple math calculations.
Preferred Education and Experience
- 1 – 2 years previous warehouse experience
