Renovation Technician

While your job title may be Renovations Technician, your role is so much more. At FRG, your role will be a constant blend of:

• Customer Service ? Simply put, it?s your job to make sure our residents feel at home, well-cared for, and proud to live in our community. While you may not interact with residents as often as our other team members, it?s your job to show them we care.
• Renovation Projects ? Our Renovation Technicians are responsible for getting our apartments move-in ready for new residents. You could be demoing older kitchens, installing new backsplash tiles, roughing in new plumbing, installing new electrical switches and outlets, or framing out a closet. Every detail counts.

As you can tell, you'll be busy, and our team loves that. Every day brings something a little different and new challenges to help you grow. You'll be empowered to work with a strong team and to solve problems by indulging your creativity.

Hard skills and education:

• Carpentry: Framing, installation of kitchen cabinetry, doors/jambs/hardware, trim, molding, etc.
• Ceramic Tile Installation: Cutting, laying, and grouting
• Electric: roughing in, moving electrical, installation and repair of light fixtures, switches, outlets, appliances, etc.
• Plumbing: roughing in, installation and repair of faucets, drains, traps, toilets, diverters, valves, appliances, domestic hot water heaters, etc.
• Drywall: installation and repair of sheetrock, spackling, sanding, caulking
• Demo: removing cabinets, tiles, drywall, toilets, bathtubs, etc.
• High school diploma or GRE
