Employment Case Manager Bothell/Kirkland

Do you enjoy helping others and making a difference in your community and in the lives of marginalized youth? If so, then you may be the right person to create job opportunities and increase the employability of young adults experiencing homelessness at Friends of Youth as an Employment Case Manager. The Employment Case Manager assists clients with job readiness, building soft skills, performing job searches, practicing interviewing skills and supporting youth in obtaining internships and employment opportunities. In addition, the Employment Case Manager works to reduce employment barriers by utilizing trauma-informed case management practices, accessing internal and external resources and referrals and building and maintaining strong relationships with local employers. This is a hybrid position, with 2 days working remotely.

We require:

• Bachelor's degree in a social sciences work, or closely related field. And a minimum of 3 years equivalent work experience
• Prior experience and knowledge in job development, job marketing and job placement.
• Lived experience of homelessness can be supplemented for work experience and/or education
• Prior experience in case management preferred.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check & TB test
• WA Driver’s license with a safe driving record. Employees who operate their own or Friends of Youth vehicles on Friends of Youth business must carry auto liability insurance that complies with the requirements of Friends of Youth
• Proof of COVID vaccination
