As Service Lead you will:
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships – to strengthen customer loyalty and dealer reputation.
- Works one on one with customers while their equipment is in our shop. Giving accurate information, estimated cost of jobs and obtaining permission to do the needed work. Giving updates throughout the progress of the repair so the customer is fully involved.
- Has the ability to walk technicians through situations whether out in the field or in the shop.
- Continually improve personal skill set – to respond to customer needs in a more effective manner.
- Ability to manage a multiple technician shop.
- Actively identifies, seeks, and obtains new prospects.
- Strives to achieve and maintain service goals.
- Works closely with technicians to schedule, advise, and lead a safe profitable operation.
- Meets scheduled work deadlines and ensures efficient billing through customer pay or warranty claims.
- Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
- Assures technicians have well documented work orders with all parts needed for each job.
- Participates in all training programs that are made available.
- Keeps current on new products and product updates.
- Maintains professional appearance.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Must have a technical or mechanical background preferred.
- Solid analytical, business planning, problem solving, and communication skills.
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Customer oriented focus and philosophy
- Familiarity and experience with agricultural and construction equipment preferred.
