We are looking for professional Medical Assistants or LPNs to join our New Staff at our NEW LOCATION in Manitowoc at our Harbortown Clinic!!


SCHEDULE LOGISTICS

SHIFT: 1ST

FTE: 0.700000 | 56 HOURS PER PAY PERIOD (28 HOURS PER WEEK)

SCHEDULE: Schedule will require the employee to work Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Location: US:WI:MANITOWOC at our HFM HARBOR TOWN CAMPUS facility.

*1.0 FTE is Full-Time, any position less than 1.0 FTE is Part-Time, and .001 FTE is Optional Part-Time*

*Positions with an "FTE" (full time equivalency) of .8 - 1.0 are eligible for full-time medical, dental and vision benefits. Positions with an "FTE" of .5 - .799 are eligible for part-time pro-rated medical, dental and vision benefits*


MA OR LPN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • A Licensed Practical Nurse/Medical Assistant position is a healthcare professional and an essential member of the patient-centered healthcare team.
  • This individual is responsible for the following:
    • Pre-visit planning
    • Standard rooming responsibilities
    • Assisting with procedures
    • Discharge instructions
    • Other duties as assigned.
  • The Licensed Practical Nurse/Medical Assistant is instrumental in helping the patient feel at ease while collaborating with the provider throughout the patient's visit.
  • The Licensed Practical Nurse/Medical Assistant may be required to cross train and float as needed to maintain optimal clinic operations and other duties as assigned.

MEDICAL ASSISTANT Minimum Qualifications:

One to two years of clinical experience is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.

In addition, individuals must meet one (1) of the following combinations of education and experience

A. A graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant Program (Associate, Diploma or Certificate). - Additional certification through the AAMA and/or an equal certification board or certification is preferred.

B. A graduate of a non CAAHEP or ABHES Medical Assistant program (Associate, diploma, or Certificate) or Military Medic/Corpsman training. In addition to education, one (1) years of formal on the job Medical Assistant experience required. - Additional certification through the AAMA and/or an equal certification board or certification is preferred.

C. Currently possess and are in good standing with at least one of the following credentials

a. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - AAMA

b. Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) - AMT

c. Assessment –Based Recognition in Order Entry (ABR-OE)

d. Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) -NHA

LPN Minimum Qualifications:

One to two years of related clinical experience is preferred. Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing is required. Current LPN licensure by the state of Wisconsin Department of Regulation and Licensing. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is is required within 90 days of hire. Certification through the AAMA and/or an equal certification board or certification is preferred.
