Overview
Duties: The Software QA Engineer L4 will work with QA Manager, Product Managers, Technical Project Management, and the Development team to understand features and technical implementation and ensure our sites, products, and platforms perform to industry-beating quality levels. The person is expected to strive to raise the bar of QA practices and establish high-quality test standards. Responsibilities include: developing, maintaining, and executing smoke, regression, functional, performance, and other test cases as needed; creation and maintenance of UI and API automation tests, enhancing and upgrading Test Automation Framework; creating test strategy and test plans for their specific projects; ensuring test cases have full traceability back to business requirements and technical specifications; being able to understand the software internals, debug issues, review logs and write automated tests with scripting and automation tools; communicating the testing metrics to the stakeholders regularly; logging and retesting defects; identifying and maintaining test data requirements; assisting on complex internal process improvement initiatives, and mentoring and train the QA Engineer L3s and L2s. May include other duties as assigned.
Requirements: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related and 5 years of quality assurance experience including:
- Functional testing
- Development and maintenance of test automation framework
- Test strategy and planning
- REST API testing and automation
- UI automation
- Java
- CI / CD experience
Remote work is an option.
Salary: $ 103,768 per year
Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday
