SUMMARY

 

The VP of Omnichannel is responsible for collaborating with cross-functional partners to manage all marketing aspects of the ecommerce and direct business units including strategic business planning, achievement of sales and profitability goals, content strategy and development, product development strategy, promotional campaigns and other online marketing, website and UX design, web analytics and web . 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop the strategy and lead the execution for Frontier’s ecommerce business across all channels including Amazon 1P, Amazon 3P, Marketplace, DTC for all Frontier brands and distributed products. This includes product assortment, promotional strategy, merchandising, data analytics, digital content and UI/UX design.
  • Build and develop a cohesive team of internal and external personnel to effectively meet ecommerce sales and profit goals.
  • Oversee and prioritize growth initiatives, influence architecture and infrastructure requirements to ultimately fulfill eCommerce business strategy while remaining current with the latest eCommerce trends and technology to keep the platform at the forefront and ahead of competition.
  • Serve as liaison and primary point of contact within the ecommerce organization for cross functional partners acting as a project manager to evaluate, prioritize, develop, manage, implement, and test ecommerce initiatives.
  • Collaborate with brand management to ensure websites deliver on both brand experiences and ecommerce needs and continually balance these two important strategic goals.
  • Develop and manage all ecommerce marketing campaigns including but not limited to SEO, SEM, email marketing and shopper marketing.
  • Identify, implement, and manage strong partnerships with third-party solutions for customer acquisition, conversion and website optimization including but not limited to Amazon, I-Herb, Vitacost, Wal-Mart, etc.
  • Identify key metrics to evaluate, optimize and benchmark performance. Generate and communicate valuable insights that lead to quick response and successful decision making.
  • Monitors key competitor and Internet Retailer Top 100 websites for trends and actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Sales, Marketing, IT, Customer Service, Operations, Finance and Planning Teams on key initiatives that ensure end-to-end optimization and a best-in-class customer experience.
  • Included in this role will be the management of Frontier’s Direct Business Unit that services both wholesale and retail direct shipment customers. Management would include everything from strategy development through to planning and delivery of the p&l for the business unit.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This role manages 2-4 direct reports and a team of 8-10.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree (BA) in business with marketing and/or sales experience, MBA required; and 7 to 10 years related experience in D2C and ecommerce with extensive knowledge of ecommerce marketing, experience selling through Amazon, technology and business analytics; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working in the consumer packaged goods market space preferred.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret such items as professional, scientific, and technical journals, legal documents and business reports. Ability to prepare and deliver presentations to management team and board of directors. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints from both inside and outside the company. Ability to write articles or memos on areas of responsibility.

 

QUANTITATIVE SKILLS

Demonstrate a high degree of analytical capability. Ability to interpret search and site analytics. Ability to comprehend financial principles. Ability to create highly customized spreadsheets and charts, run reports, and interpret data.

 

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Outstanding analytical skills, strong experience interpreting test results and drawing conclusions.
  • Demonstrated strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives.
  • Excellent communications, interpersonal and collaborative skills.
  • Ability to understand Magento, Expression Engine platforms, Adobe Google Adwords, AEM, Universal Analytics, Listrack, customer database segmentation and other business software and systems.
