Frye Regional Medical Center, located in the beautiful foothills of North Carolina is a 355-bed acute care hospital, 81-bed Behavioral Health facility and more than 70 primary and specialty care providers.
Essential Functions
- Performs multiple departmental assigned tasks that facilitate the transportation of patients, positioning of patients, room readiness and the turnover processes between surgical procedures.
- Takes specimens to the laboratory, picks up x-rays, charts, etc.
- Assembles equipment, assists anesthesia care givers as directed, and performs environmental sanitation within the operating room and immediate ancillary units.
- Ensures proper care and storage of surgical equipment and devices.

Minimum Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certified Nursing Assistant preferred
