Summary:
Facilities Maintenance will perform a variety of routine and semi-skilled tasks involving general maintenance of FST facilities equipment, and grounds. Depending on assignment, duties may include repairing leaks, unplugging toilets, and drains, replacing light bulbs and fluorescent lights, replacing electrical receptacles, etc. Facilities Maintenance may also perform carpentry work such as: minor pain jobs, installing doors, door stops cabinet doors, tile, adjustable shelving, setting forms for concrete, etc. This role will also perform preventative maintenance on heating, ventilation, and HVAC systems. Facilities Maintenance will also make roof repairs, install glass, screens, refrigerators and make minor grounds and landscape irrigation repairs. General cleaning of facilities may also be required.
To ensure success in Facilities Maintenance, you must be semi-skilled in service and maintenance and can work independently on routine and recurring assignments. Adherence to safety procedures is a must and you must have an understanding and ability to use appropriate equipment and tools in completing assignments. You will be held accountable to comply with all defined business process and the utilization of all technology platforms, as defined by FST.
Qualifications and Skillsets:

- Take ownership of your Duty to Communicate all required and relevant information to necessary people, departments, and customers
- Any combination of training, education, and experience equivalent to 1 years facility maintenance experience
- Possess a valid Ohio Driver’s License
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees and vendors to make repairs, coordinate work, and order supplies
- Strong knowledge of commonly used equipment and tools
- Basic and semiskilled facility maintenance repair tasks
- Stand for 8-10 hours per day
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., if required
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in a variety of temperatures (hot and cold)
- Comfortable working at heights
- Ability to safely use a variety of equipment and tools
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, reach, and do repetitive motion for extended periods of time
