Weekend Server Assistant (Evenings)

Job Title: Weekend Server Assistant (Friday and Saturday nights)

Hours: 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM every Friday and Saturday

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and customer-focused Server Assistant to join our team during peak hours every Friday and Saturday night. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent time management skills, and a friendly demeanor. This position will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the smooth operation of our restaurant during the busiest times of the week.

Responsibilities:

1. Assisting servers and kitchen staff in delivering food orders accurately and promptly to customers.
2. Assisting the host/hostess with greeting and seating customers, managing waitlists, and ensuring tables are clean and properly set.
3. Clearing tables promptly after customers leave, including wiping down surfaces, replacing table linens, and setting up for the next customers.
4. Responding to guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally, escalating to a server or manager as needed.
5. Assisting with restocking service stations, cleaning, and other duties as needed to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly.
6. Adhering to all restaurant policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
2. Previous experience in a restaurant or similar hospitality setting is beneficial, but not required.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for extended periods, and carry heavy plates.
5. Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
6. Must be available to work every Friday and Saturday evening from 5 PM to 10 PM.
